EIA is now recognised by most development teams and planning authorities as a useful tool in achieving better site design. The skill lies in having a really sound knowledge of planning guidance and policy, reliable survey data and the experience to predict the consequences of development - good and bad. It doesn't end there - there is a need to know how this may translate into planning obligations and agreements.

Project: Masterplan Review
Client: Newcastle Airport

Runway

"Having undertaken the environmental appraisal of the Airport's first masterplan nearly ten years ago, we're back working with the same team. Its rewarding when you know the site and the personalities, and can see how the first appraisal has helped to inform decision making by the Company".
